this site started during an obsessive haze when I was bedridden for about 6 or 7 days, seized by some respiratory infection. now that the illness has finally passed, now that my compulsion to be working on the site 24/7 is fading, and now that I can go outside again if I want to, I find the outside world hostile - winter is officially here in Melbourne, and Melbourne winters are notorious. nevertheless I am sick of my bedroom and I've planned to go birding sometime this week. it is an excellent time for it, unpleasantness aside. i'm also making a real effort to get back on my reading this year, and once I feel confident in my rhythm, I'm excited for this (and the birding) to reflect in my #Blogging... thanks for reading and for visiting my site.
